If a fossil or a seashell could inspire a designer to sculpt and craft leather as if it were silk and as a result create handbags that Londoners will die for, could they also take off in Italy too?
Indeed, it seems that anything can happen. The designer is Sonia Guzzo and the result of her inspiration is a striking collection of sculptural handbags. She has already had great success in the UK but it won`t stop there. In fact, with her fans queing up to get her latest creations, and with galleries, showrooms and concept stores all now wanting to get their hands on her products, Sonia has grand designs in mind.
